4 WEEK HAND BUILDING COURSE

Join Alex Smith for a 5 week exploration into various hand building techniques to create some beautiful ceramics in line with the festive period. You can choose to make decorations, objects to use in your own celebrations or create gifts for others. You’ll be using hand-building techniques such as slab rolling, coiling and pinching, as well as how to use moulds to create forms. We’ll be decorating with materials, carving & stamps to create pattern, followed by underglaze and glaze methods to decorate. @alexsmithceramics is an artist known for bold and characterful work.
