6 WEEK WHEEL AND HAND BUILDING COURSE

A 6 week combined wheel throwing and hand building course. You will explore hand building techniques such as pinching and coiling as well as learn or improve wheel throwing. As there are only 3 wheels in the studio this is not a pure wheel workshop and there will be time spent on both the wheel and the table. Taught by Gabrielle Cooper Artist, ceramicist and facilitator, Gabrielle’s practice is rooted in community engagement and creative development. She delivers ceramics, art, printmaking and photography workshops across schools, charities, and community spaces, working extensively with learners of all ages, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities. Her approach is to encourage creativity and personal growth through hands-on making.
